| WUVT 90.7FM MUSIC DIRECTOR - Barry Hall - Hollywood & Rose Album
MTV Song sounds eerily like Bruce Springsteen. The rest of the album has a uniform style. Very nice tempo to the songs. A very nice addition to any Americana collection. Suggested: 1,3,4,7,8,9 |

| ALBUM REVIEW from www.altcountrytab.com "...this latest self titled offering will no doubt cement the growing reputation of the William Wyatt band. The music tendered here is a blend of country rock that leans towards the mid west sound with touches of east coast blue collar thrown in for spice. There are hints of Springsteen and Neil Young in the ten songs offered here, the music flows nicely along with subtle changes of pace; Wyatt handles guitar, harmonica and lends his distinctive Dylan-esque vocals, while the band surround his compositions with considerable flair. This is a fine set of songs which display equal quantities of maturity and style, giving the impression that better things are still to come from Wyatt - definitely one to watch." http://www.altcountrytab.com/actforum/topic.asp?Topic_ID=12948 for the entire review. |

| Press Release from MichiganBands.com "On Sunday April 13th, six of the areas top country acts attacked the Emerald Theatre in Detroit for a showdown that would bring the two winners a chance to open for Nashville Recording Artists "Emerson Drive" when they appear at the Emerald on April 27th. The William Wyatt Band opened the evening with their saxophone enhanced countrified rock stylings. ...we all knew only two bands could snag the brass ring on this one and open for Emerson Drive. The votes were counted and the audience selected the William Wyatt Band and Crossroads as the bands to come back on April 27th for the big show. The theatre exploded as the bands were named, it was obvious that the winners had their crowds on hand." http://www.michiganbands.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=590 for the entire article |
